At Spark Data Systems, we are proud to maintain out home city’s maritime history by building software for a range of marine clients.
By providing stable and effective systems for our clients in this sector, we enable them to do the same for the vessels that depend on them - be they Support Vessels, Aircraft Carriers, or Mega Yachts.
Software as a Service, Cloud Computing, whatever the current term is the fact is that for specialist areas it can make far more sense to focus your attention on what you do as a Commercial Enterprise, and leave the technical side to us.
Or it may be that one part of your Operation is outside the core service that you offer your clients, so to fill that gap, we can provide that service - either as a dedicated unit, or 'White Labelled'to other organisations.
Our Consultants are experts, not only in how to make the most of your data, budget, information, but also in bridging the gap between data providers and the rest of the organisation. With real world experience in real world systems, we have helped our clients in many ways including:
Developing KPIs to translate raw Data into meaningful and useful Information that actually helps monitor and move the business forward rather than swamp it in numbers.
Advise on the best route forward for System Upgrades or migration. We pride ourselves on a pragmatic approach and are able to advise on when to build out from an existing system, replace on a module by module basis, or just start again from scratch - taking into account also your teams skills, organisational characteristics , business needs; not merely the technology.
Whatever your system requirement, be it Management Information, Document Management, Data Warehousing or Line of Business Application, our directly employed, stable and reliable team have the proven techniques and methodologies to deliver.
How we produce this depends on what helps our client most.
For some we are their development team, and they can focus on their core business while we maintain the skilled team needed for core applications. For others we may build a component to interact with a core system maintained by an in-house team. Normally, we operate somewhere between the two.
In all cases though, we operate on the basis that our client retains the IPR for what they have paid us to do - it's what we'd expect, but it's not always the case.
