Instructions from M4
- Turn off the M4 at Junction 19, signposted M32 Bristol.
- Proceed all the way down to the traffic lights at the end of this road and turn right.
- After 50 metres you will come to a large roundabout – take the first exit.
- As you go along this one way system, stay in the middle lane.
- After 100 metres you will come to the BroadQuay one way system which you should join, staying in the middle lane, and following signs for ‘A4 Anchor Road’.
- Staying in the middle lane, you should filter first right and then immediately left at the first set of traffic lights. This should then leave you in the left hand lane as you pass the Hippodrome theatre on your right hand side and the fountains (if they ever work) on the left.
- Keep in the left hand lane to go straight on at the next set of lights, where the right hand lane filters off to the right and up a slight hill.
- Follow this road straight on past the @Bristol centre (a large glass sided building) on your left.
- Approximately 300 metres past this you will come to a roundabout.
- Take the first exit from this roundabout, and Quayside is a red and purple brick building, 100 metres on the right.
Instructions from M5
- Leave the M5 at Junction 18 (Avonmouth) and follow signs for A4 Bristol
- After 2 miles you will be travelling beside the river, and after a further 3.5 miles you will pass under the Clifton Suspension bridge.
- Keep in the left-hand lane and ½ mile after going under the bridge follow signs saying ‘A4 City’ as the road curves round to the left.
- Go straight through the lights, and continue to follow the road as it turns 90 degrees to the right.
- Keep straight on, on this road and Quayside (a four storey brick building) is ½ mile down this road on the left, approximately 100 metres before the roundabout at the end of this road.
